Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) is a State Owned University with legal entity (PTN bh), currently (2024) has 9 faculties, 5 local campuses and one graduate school. One of the the faculty is Faculty of Technology and Vocational education (FPTK). The faculty offers 10 study programs for TVET teachers in the field of electrical, mechanical and civil engineering, architecture, home economics, and agroindustries, industrial automation and robotics. In addition, it offers 5 non-education bachelor programmes in electrical, architecture, civil engineering, logistics, and post-graduate in technical and vocational education. Since 2010, FPTK also offers continuous education programmes in the framework of Indonesian teacher upgrading. The Indonesian TVET Research Centre inside FPTK is conducting research and providing consultancy for policy development in TVET.
