Symbiosis Skills and Professional University is India’s pioneering Skill Development University and a leading institution in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET). The University focuses on advancing industry-integrated, employability-oriented and inclusive TVET systems through education, research, capacity building and ecosystem development.

The University offers programmes aligned with emerging and high-demand sectors such as advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, artificial intelligence, robotics, fintech, cybersecurity, logistics and supply chain management, digital marketing and defence technologies. Its practice-based pedagogy integrates experiential learning, internships, industrial training and hands-on skill development to enhance workforce readiness and support smooth transition into employment.

A key focus area of SSPU is research and innovation in the TVET sector, particularly in understanding the impact of skills development on employability, regional economic growth and workforce transformation.
