Duoc UC’s Educational Model focuses on competency and capabilities, which aims to equip students with the essential skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to excel in their professional and personal lives. This model emphasizes practical, hands-on learning experiences and the development of competencies that are directly applicable to the workplace and broader society. Duoc UC's academic project is committed to achieving high standards of quality in education, providing students with comprehensive education such as social, labour and cultural education.
Duoc UC maintains a strong and collaborative relationship with various industries to enhance the educational experience and career readiness of its students. This relationship is multifaceted and includes industry partnerships for academic collaborations, internships, applied research and development, job placement, curriculum co-design, technology and recourse sharing and entrepreneurship and innovation among others.
In 2017, Duoc UC was granted the highest accreditation grade of seven years by the Comisión Nacional de Acreditación - CNA (National Accreditation Agency).
