The Instructor Training Center (ITC) of Iran Technical and Vocational Training Organization (Iran TVTO) was established in 1974 with support from the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Its main purpose is to train instructors for Iran TVTO and affiliated institutions.
ITC focuses on human resource development and operates as an independent centre under the direct supervision of the President of Iran TVTO, which is affiliated to the Ministry of Cooperatives, Labour and Social Welfare. Iran TVTO is responsible for skills training and vocational qualifications, aiming to promote employment, strengthen work culture and develop a skilled workforce for industry and the economy.
Today, ITC is recognized as an advanced national and regional training centre, supported by modern facilities and qualified staff. It offers 17 specialized departments, including electricity, automotive technology, welding, CNC, IT, pedagogy, entrepreneurship, fashion design, wood industries, electronics, mechatronics, HVAC and home appliances, foreign languages, agriculture, and construction.
The Centre seeks to expand cooperation with training providers, educational and research institutions and industry partners in line with its mandate.
