UNEVOC Network

The Kisumu National Polytechnic (TKNP) is a premier TVET institution in Kenya, with 59 years of experience. It began as a technical secondary school and later was elevated to a national polytechnic.

TKNP has the aim of producing graduates who are equipped with technical skills for the job market. The institution contributes to the industrial and technological development in collaboration with industry and other organizations through research and transfer of technology.

There are currently over 11,000 students enrolled at the polytechnic.
