Final Report of the Regional Symposium for Policy-Makers in Technical and Vocational Education in Africa (Dakar, Senegal, 21-24, August 1995)

This report summarizes the views expressed by the participating policy-makers on the current status of technical and vocational education in the African region. The impact of the persistent economic crisis, under-employment, unemployment and the technological progress on the further development of this sector of education was also discussed during the meeting and reported by this document.
