The major objectives of the International Conference were to:

• Examine the issues and challenges in developing Qualifications Framework in the national, regional, and international levels;

• Present tested models of conceptual frameworks and showcase different case studies with respect to developing qualifications framework; and

• Exchange experiences and innovative practices in the development and implementation of Qualifications Framework in the Colombo Plan region.
