Vietnamese talent for Thüringen

Submitted by BiW

BiW’s ViTa programme (Vietnamese Talent for Thüringen) represents a model for international TVET cooperation. In partnership with Vietnamese language and vocational schools, BiW has created a comprehensive system to train and integrate skilled young workers into Germany’s construction sector. Through an eight-step process, the programme carefully matches up to 100 Vietnamese high school graduates annually with German training companies, guiding them from language preparation in Vietnam to fulltime dual training in Germany.

This structured approach includes tailored intercultural preparation, in-country mentoring, and strong company partnerships that ensure each participant receives both educational and practical support.

The ViTa initiative is featured as a BILT Innovation and Learning Practice, showcasing the transformative potential of structured and cross-border partnerships in TVET.
