This second continental report, produced jointly by UNESCO, UNICEF and the African Union, assesses progress made towards SDG 4 and CESA targets, identifies gaps and challenges, and features tested solutions that are achieving positive and often scalable results. It is designed to provide African governments with concrete guidance and advice to support them in attaining ambitious educational goals and equipping their citizens with the competencies they need to thrive.
