Transition rate

Transition rate to secondary education. New entrants to the first grade of secondary education in a given year, expressed as a percentage of the number of pupils enrolled in the final grade of primary education in the previous year.

Number of new entrants to the first grade of an education level in a given year, expressed as a percentage of the number of students who were enrolled in the final grade of the previous education level in the previous year and who do not repeat that grade the following year.
