Meeting skill needs for the green transition. Greening TVET for a greener future

 UNESCO-UNEVOC/Cedefop practical guide Vol 1

This practical guidance was developed jointly by UNESCO-UNEVOC and Cedefop, with contributions from experts and partners in TVET. The online resource offers solutions for enhancing a TVET system's response to meet the needs for the green transition. It aims to help users to take action that can increase the success factors for implementing greening TVET.

Cedefop published the corresponding guid: "Meeting skill needs for the green transition. Skills anticipation and VET for a greener future." in April 2025.

The UNESCO-UNEVOC Skills for Innovation Hubs is part of the initiative 'Developing TVET institutions for entrepreneurship, innovation and sustainability' implemented by UNESCO since 2017, and is supported by the Beijing Caofeidian International Vocational Education City (BCEC), with contributions from the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
