This discussion paper was developed from the ongoing work of UNESCO-UNEVOC, particularly through its Bridging Innovation and Learning in TVET (BILT) project. It primarily draws from the BILT Bridging Event that took place in May 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which brought together TVET stakeholders from around the world to share insights on policies for digital transformation and integration of artificial intelligence in TVET.
Participants called for synthesized evidence, comparative policy insights and actionable recommendations to support countries in translating digital and AI ambitions into effective TVET reforms. This paper consolidates discussions from the event.
