The Department of TVD is the policy implementation arm of the Technical and Vocational Training Advisory Board in Lesotho. As such, it manages and provides guidance in relation to the establishment of training schemes, programmes, national trade standards, the regulation of apprentice and worker in designated trades, methods for ascertaining the standards of proficiency for trainees and workers as well as the facilities and training porvided by technical and vocational institutions in terms of pre-service and in-service programmes.
