The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) is a national body set up by an Act of Parliament of the Republic of Ghana (Act 1023 of 2020; the Education Regulatory Bodies). The mandate of CTVET is: “to regulate, promote and administer technical and vocational education and training for transformation and innovation for sustainable development”. It is found in Part Two of the Education Regulatory Bodies Act, 2020 (Act 1023). Prior to the establishment of CTVET it was known as the Council for TVET (COTVET).
