Rwanda Polytechnic (RP) is a public institution of higher learning accredited by Higher Education Council (HEC), with the goal of providing quality technical education that enables graduates to gain skills and knowledge required to compete on the labor market, create innovative solutions to societal challenges, and contribute to the creation of a better world.

Rwanda Polytechnic is a higher TVET institution with the mandate of developing market-driven academic programs, deliver quality technical education, promote applied research and innovation, and coordination of strategic interventions to advancing higher technical education. RP has a total enrollment of more than 12,000 students and has successfully conducted seven graduation cohorts, during which 18,093 students have graduated.
