The Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) is the country’s main educational institution for TVET.

In its 16 years of operation as a post-secondary institute, BTVI has provided training opportunities which enable individuals to become financially independent and skilled professionals. It is instrumental in providing first-rate technical education programmes and professional development courses through its applied approach to learning and industry-linked experience of its faculty and accessibility, which enhance career prospects and add value to the labour force in the Bahamas.

Across the BTVI system, over 3,000 students benefit from its mission of using applied education in transforming lives and communities while developing globally competitive individuals.
