The Secretariat of State for Professional Technical Education, created by Presidential Decree no. 36/2020 of 17 November, is the central body of the State Apparatus that, in accordance with the principles, objectives and tasks defined by the Government, directs, plans, implements, coordinates and controls activities within the scope of Professional Technical Education and Vocational Training.

Mission:

Guarantee citizens access to quality and relevant technical-professional training, to respond to the demands of the labor market and the needs of the country's economic and social development.

Vision:

An excellent, inclusive Technical-Professional Education that contributes to sustainable development, that meets the needs of the productive sector and that is a reference at a regional level.
