Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) works under the supervision of Technical and Madrasah Education division of Ministry of Education, in accordance with the Bangladesh Technical Education Board Act (2018).

BTEB is a state regulatory board responsible for monitoring and developing technical and vocational education and training in the secondary levels throughout the Country. The board prepares the curriculum, develops learning materials, and grants affiliation to technical and vocational institutions governs admissions, conducts examinations, and awards certificates or diplomas and continuous Inspection, Supervision and Monitoring BTEB accredited TVET providing institute/ organization for quality assurance.
