Global Skills Academy

UNESCO (Intergovernmental organisation)

The Global Skills Academy provides various training opportunities for skilling, upskilling, and reskilling that are tailored to the fast-evolving labor market. It addresses global disengagement by offering training programs emphasizing 21st Century skills, and aiming to skill a million learners for inclusive, sustainable economies by 2029.

The Global Skills Academy connects individual learners, institutions, and governments to a wide range of training programs offered by UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition partners such as Microsoft, CISCO, GIZ, Siemens Stiftung, Huawei, IBM, HP Foundation, WHO, OECD, ILO, ITU, Pix, Orange, KPMG, Dior, Coursera, FESTO, and others to support youth and adults in their journeys to developing essential skills and competencies for improved employability and resilience.

The Global Skills Academy leverages strategic partnerships and mobilizes over 230 Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions across 150 countries through UNESCO and the UNEVOC Network.
