NPTEL Courses

Ministry of Human Resource Development (Government Organization, India)


India’s National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL) is a joint venture of the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and the Institute of Science (IISc), funded by the Ministry of Education (MoE). NPTEL claims to have the “largest online repository in the world of courses in engineering, basic sciences and selected humanities and management subjects”. Its YouTube channel features more than 50,000 hours of transcribed and subtitled video content. The library features peer-reviewed educational content, with more than 12,000 hrs of English transcripts in regional Indian languages. Courses are licensed under CC BY-NC-SA.
