PhET Interactive Simulations

PhET Interactive Simulations team hosted by the University of Colorado Boulder (Public university, USA)


The project designs, develops, and releases free interactive simulations for educational use in the fields of physics, chemistry, biology, earth science, and mathematics. The simulations have been translated into over 65 different languages, including Spanish, Chinese, German, and Arabic. The simulations are written in Java and HTML5, and can be run online or downloaded. Mobile application is available. PhET Desktop App contains all simulations, including their translations, for offline use on Windows and macOS.

PhET simulations are licensed under CC-BY-4.0, source code is available under an open source license.
