Gender focal point

Gender focal point is an individual who has been designated within an institution or organization to monitor and stimulate greater consideration of gender equality issues in daily operations. Some use the term to refer to national ministries of women’s affairs or heads of administrative services that exclusively work on the promotion of women’s rights and equal opportunities.
