For example, they must ensure that the education they provide does not discriminate, is open to the scrutiny of others, and allows the active participation of learners and other stakeholders. Learners have a right to influence decision-making and achieve change, and they are entitled to know their rights, including the right to participate in all decisions that concern them, both directly and indirectly. Teachers are key agents in transmitting this knowledge to their learners.
