Project Kick-Off event

The project was formally introduced in Iran on 17 December 2024. Over 150 national and international authorities and stakeholders including managers and administrators, researchers, master trainers, and instructors from ITC and other selected TVET training centres, youth champions and TVET students/graduates took part in this milestone activity. ITC in Karaj hosted the event which featured:

  • Project Office set-up: A formal opening of the Project Office.
  • ITC showcase: Interactive ‘marketplace of ideas’ showcased by ITC & partners
  • Knowledge exchange on innovation & market trends: International & national speakers shared knowledge on TVET innovation, market-oriented skills gaps among graduates.
  • Youth Success stories: The achievements of youth participants from national and international skills competitions were celebrated, raising awareness about the support provided by national TVET centers and programs.

Dr. Gholam Hosein Mohammadi, Deputy Minister & President of Iran TVTO; Mr. Kim Junpyo, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea and Mr. Ieng Srong, Head of UNESCO Tehran Office were welcomed by the ITC Head to one of the newly-equipped facilities.


ITC inaugurated the project office at its facility.

The project team presents a 3D printed showcase of the ITC departments that will be supported by the project.
